MathWorks Online Course Support for NPTEL

This webinar provides an overview of online course support for NPTEL, an Indian online learning platform. MathWorks engineers present on the support program and ways to incorporate MATLAB^® and Simulink^® into NPTEL courses. They will walk you through various online tools that can be incorporated into the courses and give examples of ways to increase learner engagement. Additionally, Dr. Niket Kaisare, an NPTEL instructor, shares his experience working with the MathWorks team and how it helped his course experience.

About the Presenters:

Sragdhara Bhattacharya

Sragdhara Bhattacharya is a senior online content developer at MathWorks. She holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering with a specialization in control systems from IIT Kharagpur. She works on designing and developing self-paced online training courses on Simulink and supports MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platforms.

Shanthi K P

Shanthi is a senior online content developer at MathWorks. She has extensive instructional design experience and works on designing and developing self-paced online training courses on MATLAB and supports courses on MOOC platforms.

Dr. Niket Kaisare

Dr. Niket Kaisare is a professor of chemical engineering at IIT-Madras and one of the NPTEL coordinators at IIT Madras, contributing to the advancement of online education and e-learning initiatives.
