Design And Implementation of a Novel Five-Level Inverter Topology
In the design of multilevel inverters, different topologies have been evolved. These topologies include diode clamped multilevel l inverter, flying capacitor multilevel inverter and cascaded H bridge multilevel inverter. The main limitations of the conventional topologies are large number of switches.
To combat this, an inverter with less number of switches is proposed and simulated on MATLAB-Simulink.
