Gilab, GIS for Matlab, is a GIS toolbox for MATLAB software. This toolbox includes a series of commonly used GIS functions, by which spatial analysis can be done in MATLAB environment. Gilab adds a number of spatial capabilities to MATLAB software. As a result, using Gilab, make it possible to use GIS functions along with commonly MATLAB functions. Reading a variety of spatial and non-spatial data formats, exporting output to a variety of common spatial and non-spatial formats, displaying spatial data, visual analysis of spatial data, generating spatial and non-spatial layers, searching, deleting and updating spatial and non-spatial data, spatial and non-spatial analyzes and etc. are some samples of Gilab toolbox capabilities.
