Magnetic position sensing using Levenberg-Marquardt
Version 1.0.0.0 (4.32 KB) by
Padraig
Levenberg-Marquardt is used to calculate 3D position of a 3DOF pick-up coil in a simulated field.
The Levenberg-Marquardt position is implemented in the presence of a simulated array of current carrying coils. A simulated 3DOF sensor (Bx By Bz) measures the magnetic flux resulting from each coil. These flux measurements are then used used to determine the position of the sensor using a non-linear least squares solver.
