This is a Matlab package for establishing, calculating, and analyzing dynamic models for parallel axis rotors, such as Jeffcott, dual-rotor.

Modeling
This package allows to establishment of ODEs for parallel-axis rotor-bearing systems, such as Jeffcott rotors, multi-disks rotors, or dual-rotor systems. You can establish your rotor systems according to inputting the geometrical and physical parameters.
Meshing
The rotor model will be established by the FEM method (1-D) and Timoshenko's beam theory. A disk element, a linear bearing element, a shaft element, and an intermediate bearing connecting parallel axes are predefined. You can choose auto mesh or input a new meshing plan.
Calculating
The calculating kernel is the Runge-Kutta Method. You can define the step, start time, and end time points.
Analyzing
Some common postprocessing functions are established for this special model, such as Time history, Axis Trajectory, Phase Diagram, Poincare Section, Frequency Spectrum, and 3-D Spectrum.
