This code is designed to calculate the steady-state heat transfer behavior of an FDM 3D printer, which is simplified as a three-dimensional box. The ambient temperature, desired chamber temperature, properties of diferent wall layers on each side, and the modes of heat transfer the user wish to calculate are taken as input. The output of this program includes the summary of input, the external temperature of the printer, and the overall rate of heat loss. A schematic diagram of the printer setup will be generated upon excution of the program. This program could be easily modified to other similar steady state analyses with various geometries and configruations. Relevant physical properties are interpolated from material property tables, and the algorithm could be applied if other tables are desired.
