Why am I not able to set the angle in the Continuous Angle block to -180?

I am using the Continuous Angle block in SimMechanics Library. I would like the angle to increase from -180 towards 0. However when I set the angle to -180, it automatically converts it to 180. So is there an option of changing my interval from (-180 180] to [-180 180)?

The ability to change the interval of the Continuous Angle block from (-180 180] to [-180 180) is currently not available in SimMechanics 2.7.

To work around this issue, please use a value closer to -180 i.e. -179.9999.
