VSD Drives for Conveyor belt system

Hi guys,

I am trying to design a dynamic conveyor belt system (Overland Coal Conveyors) so that I can analyze the mechanical aspects of it especially vibration. However, I need to develop a VSD drive system as this is the drive system that I want to implement on the conveyor system (4 motors). I have no idea how to derive such an electric system but I read that there are complex AC drives preloaded on Matlab. I came across the following:

• Six-Step VSI Induction Motor Drive
• Space Vector PW M VSI Induction Motor Drive
• Field-Oriented Control Induction Motor Drive
• DTC Induction Motor Drive

Can I use any of these drives (4 of one) as the drive system powering the 4 motors?

If I understand the documentation correctly, Yes, you could use any of those drive models for your purpose.
