Hi: I have a second order ODE of the form:
A(x) y''(x) + B(x) y'(x) + C(x)=0
with Boundary Conditions
y(x=0)=0 y'(x=a)=k
How can I numerically solve this equation in MATLAB. I appreciate suggestions. Thanks in advance,

Hi,
take a look at that post. This has a link in it to a PDF which explains everything and it also has an example in it.

Thanks for the reply. In the examples, the BCs are both at x=0 for y & y' (IVP) and x=0 and x=a for y(x) (BVP). However, I have x=0 for y(x) and x=a for y'(a). I am confused about applying BCs.
