Ettus X310 connection failure with USRP support toolbox

Hi,
I've tried for about 5 hours today to connect my X310 to matlab using the usrp toolbox. I have used the same ettus, same ethernet cord (no hub), on a linux machine to run GNURadio. I now have it on a windows machine, same hardware specifications, running matlab 2021a. I went through the options and changed the appropriate port options as follows:
IP Address: 192.168.10.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Pinging this address returns 0% loss. When I go through the setup options, I get a "yellow triangle" warning and an option to manually change the address through the matlab program. I go through those options (which changes the mask to 255.255.0.0), then my radio is completely undiscoverable until I revert to the previous mask as described above.
Does anyone have any tips on how to use this software, or would I be better off using a different device? I have an N210 that I have to find a power supply for, but it doesn't have MIMO capabilities.

Hi
What is the output of "findsdru" function when you execute it from the MATLAB command window?

Hi Nolan,
we changed the IP-Address of the host to 192.168.40.1 and found our system with a ping on 192.168.40.2. This is the default IP. But the example files don't work for us.
