Please help me to setup compiler for building MEX files in R2009b version(64bit) in window7(64bit)

I have a problem to setup a compiler in R2009b (64bit) to build a mex file. Please help me to setup a compiler for this version in my system of window7(64bit) Thanks Anand

The first thing to do is to check if your compiler is supported : Supported and Compatible Compilers – Release 2009b

Then read carefully on the same page the Notes for the Windows (64-bit) Platform. For example if you choose Microsoft Visual Studio with MATLAB on a 64-bit platform , read the note number 6.
