C Compiler on MacOS 10.12.6

I have booked on a Microsoft Ream MatLab course next week and downloaded R2020a on my MacOS 10.12.6.

I tried to download x-code but its compatible with MacOS versions 10.15.2 and later.

I was referred to the Apple developer site but Reality Converter Beta also compatible with MacOS versions 10.15.2 and later.

Do you have any suggestions as to what I should download in preparation for the course?

Did you try installing XCode from the App Store?

The direct download for XCode for Sierra requires joining Apple Developer Community; https://developer.apple.com/download/more/ and download XCode 9.2
