What is the algorithm used by del2 at the boundaries of a matrix in MATLAB?

The help page on del2 details the algorithm used for the interior points of any matrix. However, I am trying to use del2 to model heat flow with adiabatic boundary conditions. I would like to know how del2 is computing the gradient at the boundaries in an equal amount of detail.

Thanks! Doesn't display an algorithm in a nice form (like on the support page for del2) but I can parse out more or less what it is doing.

There you see what it actually does and the function isn't exactly long. I couldn't be bothered to figure out how that del2 works for your PDE, and even if I tried and misunderstood...
