I have a script which uses the cpselect for control point selection for image registration. However, since updating matlab, my Mac OS, or some combination of both I cannot use the tool. Every time I run the script and the control point selection window opens Matlab freezes and I am forced to quit Matlab. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I can't find a crash report or otherwise to send or attach here, is there somewhere I can find an error log or otherwise? Are there alternatives to cpselect for this kind of registration? I have tried a reinstall of Matlab to no avail.

Do you happen to have Magnet or Default Folder X installed ?

I had the same issue. I had Magnet installed. After closing Magnet, cpselect worked without crashing. Thanks @Walter Roberson !
