I want to rotate a 1 D plot (y=f(x)) around the y axis by 2pi and view it as a 2D intensity image in the X-Z plane, with y as the amplitude.
Thanks,
PZ

I should have been more clear.
I want to create a surface, say 50 or so radial slices between 0 - 2 pi.
Thanks

Try to us surfact to plot. Then you can us a tool called "Rotat -3D", and you can move it as you wish and view it.

That is what I was attempting. I am having trouble with the specifics of generating the surface, the radial cross- sections in the revolve.
