Body parts measurement software in MATLAB..

Its my first question on this forum so apologies in advance if you find it silly. I have a client which is asking mw to develope a software to measure body parts. All I want to know what are the restrictions? Is it even do able? What libraries should I explore for this? What shpuld be the budget and duration of the project? Can we built an API qhich will be called by mobiles?

Can you do it? Well, one assumes that anything is possible, modulated only by your general programming skill and knowledge of the in the language.

What are the restrictions? Again, your skill and knowledge. Duration and budget? Hard to know. again, your skill and knowledge are both crucial and pertinent.

Libraries? Well, if the input will be in the form of images, then image processing tools would seem a good start.

Thanks for your comment John. I have a good programming skills and I can learn fast. Imagining if I have all the time then what could be other restrictions. For Example: Images are taken from same angle, distance, brightness etc Frame length of each image is same etc.

Can anyone here give me a link to similar problem, answer or project etc
