What's the sampling frequency that gives a good temporal and frequency resolution?

Minimum sampling frequency would be >= Nyquist frequency which is max([f0 f1 f2 ... fn])/2

Sampling at 3-4X that value will be "adequate" for analysis for most practical purposes.

Minimum sample duration must be at least 2X the slowest frequency or 2/min([f0 f1 f2 ... fn]). Similarly, more samples--> better estimates
