i wish to model a piezo bimorph with voltage connected in d31 mode rather than d33 mode in stack actuator. this could be very helpful in modelling and simulating a deflection based cantilever type piezo bimorph. please help. even the latest matlab does not seem to show any support for d31 mode bimorph actuators. the answer to this can really help in modelling energy harvesters or mems.

After a search, I have some idea of what a piezo bimorph is and the reason you want to model energy harvesters. (I had only encountered them in the context of scanning electron microscopy, and have never worked with them.) I have no idea at all what you mean by d31 mode rather than d33 mode. If you post an open-access link to one or more PDF papers on the subject so we can enlighten ourselves, we can probably help if you encounter problems developing your model.

Simscape Electrical includes now a Piezo Bender block. Check this Piezo Bender Energy Harvester example that shows how to use this block.
