Matlab student version won't open after installation and activation (Windows 10)

I have recently purchased and installed Matlab Student Version with 2 additinal toolboxes. The installation and activation seemed to work fine and matlab opened on first attempt. However, the next day I tried to open the programme again but it only flashed open for less than a second and then dissapeared. I have researched this specific issue and tried some of the suggested solutions but it is not opening for me still. I tried to delete "preferences" folders, I also renamed the release folder and simply deleted the programme and installed it again.

None of these things have worked for me.

You might try running Matlab as admin. If that doesn't work, you can contact support with the Contact Us button at the top of this page.
