How I can calculate the porosity, pores size and surface area with matlab (DICOM is the image format) ?

I have a stack(416 No's) of Micro-CT images of a scaffold and I need to find the porosity, pores size, pore diameter and surface area for the images. Please write the steps which I have to follow. Your suggestions/comments are highly welcomed.

Andrew Kraynik (retired from Sandia National Labs) has foam analysis software. Some people in my company use it.
