I am using MatLab for the first time an don't understand how to input the information in the system and save it so I can turn into my professor. Can someone help me getting started please.

I am just trying to input the information in Matlab or the window. But I don't know if I am doing it correctly and how to save the information as well. Please help me getting started I have he information to input it but it seems that I am not putting it in right and I don't know how to save it and send it to my professor for a grade.

Saving information is a pretty simple process, it depends on what you are saving. If you are saving variables, then you should start with >>save filename V1 ... Vn If you want to save your entire workspace, then just >>save filename will work those will save your variables as a .mat file, which can be easily loaded with >>load filename.mat If you are working with a script, all you need to do is click the save as icon in the top left corner when you are editing the script

You can then put all your saved items into a folder in MATLAB by clicking and dragging. This prepares them to be uploaded onto the web through DropBox, Google Drive or other share media. Sometimes it is best to zip a file before sending it to the web, because it saves space. You can zip files through MATLAB by right clicking and clicking, "Create Zip File" I hope this helps you.
