Where can i find my licence key or number

Sir i want to work online with MATLAB but matlab is want licence number, i have not any licence number so Where can i find my licence key or number so that i can do something on MATLAB.

Do you have a local Matlab installation? Then run the license command.

Or login to your Matlab account. In the upper right corner of this page you should find your account name. Click on "My Account". Then a page opens which contains a table with out license number.

Or don't you have any license? Then you have to buy one.

I am not certain because I only had access to MATLAB Online for a short time, but as best I understand, MATLAB Online does not support MATLAB Compiler or MATLAB Coder.

If you purchased the license online from Mathworks, the license information should have been emailed to you; make sure to check your spam folders.

Show us the results. For example mine says:

and you can see the the third line has the license number:

What does that line say for you? If there a number on that line?

As I indicated, Student licenses do not have license numbers. However, you can use your Activation Key to use MATLAB Online. See the link I posted for more information on how to locate your Activation Key.

You can use MATLAB Online with a license or an Activation Key. To get your Activation Key see

Student licenses do not have license numbers if I understand correcly (I am not positive, as I have also seen 40* series numbers, but those were perhaps Academic licenses rather than student licenses.)

I posted the link to the information about how to retrieve your activation key, which every license has even if it does not have a license number.

When you try to sign in at https://matlab.mathworks.com you might receive an error message that says

Your account cannot currently access MATLAB Online. Possible reasons include:

      You have not associated to a license (use text field below)
      You have a license that does not include access to MATLAB Online
      Your software maintenance expired

To update your license, visit the License Center or contact your administrator

If you receive that then immediately below that there will be a field in which you can enter a license number or an activation key.
