Visual Analogue Scale in Cogent

I am trying to implement a Visual Analogue Scale to collect mouse responses from experimental participants using Cogent. Does anybody have experience of this or a basic code from which I may begin? Novice programmer here!

It is not obvious how this is related to MATLAB ?
