How to set an object center in the 3D World Editor

3 views (last 30 days)
I'm creating a telescope simulation in the 3D world editor. How do I set an object's 'center' point / point of rotation (eg: I have a cylinder that rotates from one of it's ends). Thanks!

Hi oppnahar, I've got your same problem! I import a .wrl file as inline VRML file as children of a trasform group. I have read that to change the center of rotation simply change the parameters in the bboxCenter field of the editor but it did not work in my case. Let me know if this works for you or if you have found another solution!
Thank you, Valerio

Still trying to figure this out. Will let you know if I find the solution.
As for the bboxCenter do you have the link for that?
Because in the documentation I think it's more about the rendering boundaries of an object. Here's the docs: BboxCenter
