how to export pixel values corresponded to a point file.

I have an satellite image with a specific coordinate system and a point file with the same coordiante system! I'm going to work on these files in Matlab and export the pixels values corresponded to each of the points. However, I have no idea how to do this task! I will appreciate if you can help me with that.
