can't launch Matlab 2017b on Windows 8.1

1 view (last 30 days)
I installed Matlab 2017b on Windows 8.1 and try to start it. But I can't see any window of Matlab even after I reboot my computer and try one more time. (I can use Matlab 2017a.)

Windows 8 is not supported by R2017b, but 8.1 is. So this is not a problem of the operating system. Perhaps there was a fault at activating the license? Do you see any message in the log files (EventViewer of Windows)? Did you try to re-install it already?
If nothing helps, remember that MathWorks offers an installation support. Use the "Contact Us" link to ask them.

I have forgot to try to re-install 2017b before asking for help. I re-installed it and it worked. Thank you for your help.
