Unable to open MATLAB, receiving 'Bad Image' error
Show older comments
I attempted to reinstall MATLAB onto my computer after deleting it, I still hold the licence and when I downloaded it MATLAB opened. However, the next day I tried to use it and got a 'Bad Image' error. After several attempts at re-downloading I took it in for IT support at my college where the person helping deleted all previous MATLAB data from my computer before downloading again. As it did before it worked in the shop yesterday but not this morning. I'm not sure what could be causing the issues and I need MATLAB to complete assignments for my programming class so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure it is a problem with McAfee. I have the same problem, also have McAfee, but do not know how to fix it.
