How to fit a gaussian curve over the histogram?

Hello.
I analyzed data derived from LISST-Holo and I want to represent the histogram and gaussian fit. The attached figure indicates histogram of LISST data (Fig. Q_histogram).
I used a 'histfit' function but it was wrong (Fig. Q_gaussian). I do not know that its methods.
