I'm using the MATLAB R2015a version and when I typed in: nnstart
it responded with: To use 'nnstart', you might need: nnstart - Neural Network Toolbox
Does that indicate I haven't got the neural network toolbox installed? How to check? Where can I find it and how can I install it?
I'm a completely beginner. So please help.:)

‘Does that indicate I haven't got the neural network toolbox installed?’
Yes.
‘How to check?’
Type:
ver
in the Command Window. If you have the Neural Network Toolbox it will be listed.
‘Where can I find it and how can I install it?’
That depends on the sort of license you have. If you are in an academic (or similar) institution, contact the person whose responsibility it is to administer the licenses so you can download and install it. Otherwise, go to the MathWorks License Manager web page for your account. Download it if you have a license for it, or purchase a license if you do not.

In the Home tab, click Add-Ons (stacked cubes icon) -> Get Add-Ons. This launches the Add-On Explorer that lists all toolboxes from MATLAB and also the community.
