I had problem with my PC and had to recover my data from it. There is a problem with one recovered matlab file. When I open it i see something like this (image below).
>> When I try to open it in matlab there is error like this:
>> KS
??? Error: File: KS.m Line: 1 Column: 1
The input character is not valid in MATLAB statements or expressions.

Can anyone help me with this issue?

Sorry. I think - learn to keep backups.
My guess is you would spend more time trying to find a way to possibly partially recover this file than you would in re-writing it.

This is no M-file, but a PNG file: an image file. So simply your tool to recover files as failed if it guesses that this is an M-file.
Note, that even the recovery of the PNG file failed, because the file has been damaged.
