is there a script that i can use to extract the Mac addresses and recieve signal strenths of laptops and acess point on a wirless LAN in real time?

i'm doing a research on localization of laptops using Receive signal strength indication values and i want either a software or a script that has the ability of reading the the mac address of all systems connected to my access point and the respective signal strengths of their wireless cards. i will also want to be able to read these variable in real time into mat lab fussy inference Engine.
