How to change the resolution of ASUS Xtion Pro-live to 1280x1024?

Hi Guys,
Im using an ASUS Xtion Pro Live for a project with MATLAB. In order to connect the camera to matlab i used the instructions mentioned here: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/30242-kinect-matlab
These are basically the instructions to connect kinect to matlab, but they still work with ASUS. When im taking an image using the camera, it gives an image with a resolution of 640 x 480 @ 30 FPS. Is it possible to set the rgb image resolution of the Asus Xtion Pro live to 1280x1024? (which is supported by the ASUS xtion pro live according to its specifications)

i guess it is related to the .xml Config files, there is a line where its specified that resolution, but i dont know if this will work, or you might have to change the .xml config files of openni or primesensor.
