My antivirus software (Norton) has indicated and quarantines the following file in MATLAB R2024a:
C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2024a\toolbox\parallel\bin\win64\mjshealthcheck.exe.
Threat name: Win64:Evo-gen [Trj]
Threat type: Trojan Horse - This threat pretends to be something else (e.g., picture, document, or other file) to trick you into running it and infecting your computer.
Why Is 'mjshealthcheck.exe' flagged by Norton, and What Steps Should Be Taken?

The file is intentionally shipped by MathWorks and is a false positive from the antivirus. This is not malicious and is important in the function of the Parallel Computing Toolbox. This file is safe for use and the warning can be ignored.
