how to have an extension .xml to import a file from solidworks to matlab

Hi I am a new user of matlab and i try to use it with solidworks.All seems to work but i have not the possibility to save my file of solidworks whith the .xml extension because it doesn't apper as a possibility. Can you help me please Champipi

To export SolidWorks models as MATLAB compatible XML files, you have to install SimMechanics Link and register it with your SolidWorks install. Look at this link:

Hi Thank you very much Sebastian, i see on the video that to save , they use the link SimMechanic at the top of the screen . I wanted to use save as and it was possible. Best regards Champipi
