My current signal is shown in the figure, which can be seen as continuous steps. I want to obtain the vertices of these peaks and then connect them one by one to form a discount, becoming a new signal that can be input into other modules of Simulink. Your question is a bit ambigious but if you just want to remove the 0 s from the signal you can use a switch and delay block to ignore 0 values.![](https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/uploaded_files/1718476/image.png)
