How to generate uninstall log during automated (silent) deployment R2024a

17 views (last 30 days)
Deploy Matlab to our computer suites through Intune and therefore need a deployment we can trust that can run as system.
Previously we have used the properties file to configure the Matlab install and Uninstall, but since R2024a and the guidance provided here; Uninstall MATLAB - MATLAB & Simulink - MathWorks United Kingdom I'm unclear if it's possible to output an uninstall log file and if so how?
I cannot see any logs being generated by default so I'm assuming there is a switch I've yet to find. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi Guy,
Starting R2024a, Only the "-mode" flag is supported for silent installation as specified on the documentation page given by you.
You can still access the log file for the silent uninstallation from the temp directory. Plese refer to the below documentation to get more information on accessing the log file:
I hope this helps!

Hi Karanjot
Thank you for your response. I've had a quick look over the URL you posted, but I'm still unable to find the Uninstall logs in the temp directory when the installation is run as SYSTEM (%systemdrive%\Windows\Temp).
Am I missing something? Thanks
