I am trying to install MATLAB 2023b on Rhel 7 (7.4 and 7.9), both failed when I run the install script with error:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error'
what(): Failed to launch web window with error: Unable to launch the MATLABWindow application. The exit code was: 261
Aborted (core dumped)
./bin/glnxa64/MATLABWindow runs correctly after settling the LD_PRELOAD env variable, but not ./bin/glnxa64/MathWorksProductInstaller or the install script.

Hello,
I understand you are facing an issue when trying to install MATLAB R2023b on RHEL 7.9.
Please refer the following link which suggests using the MATLAB Package Manager (MPM) for installing MATLAB R2023b.
I hope this helps.
