Arduino USB Connection Failure

I have installed the MATLAB Support Package for Arduino Hardware and want to upload the server to the board. However, I keep getting error message:

'Failed to program to the Arduino board'

How do I solve this issue?

The following are a few troubleshooting steps to solve this issue:

1. Try switching the Arduino board to a different port on your computer.
2. Check to see if the COM port is set up correctly.
3. The error message might be a temporary glitch, so remove the board from the host PC and connect it back. 
4. Press the "Reset" button on the hardware when you click on the "Program" button from the hardware setup screen.
