Create a chess board (8x8) that shows the queens moves repersented by an X

I have already created the chess board and done an array showing where the queen moves and such. combining the files together and merging the codes together I guess is what I need assistance on. examples of codes would be much appreciated. attached is an example that this should be similar too.
