When trying to run MATLAB R2014a for the first time, after downloading it from MathWorks.com, I get the following message:
There are no products available to install from this location. You may need to download the appropriate products from our web-site (www.mathworks.com).
I did download the appropriate product. I then installed it. I then launched it. It then gives me this message telling me to download it. Recursion.

I guess you don't have a license for it. Why are you downloading a 8 year old version anyway? Call sales and get a license to download the latest R2022b version. Or else call tech support (ask for "Installation") and figure out why you think you have a valid license (still, after 8 years) and can't install it.

OK, so you are paying the software maintenance fee every year. Compatibility issues are rare. It will probably work with the newest version. Did you try it?
Assuming you did try the latest version and it didn't work, and don't want to fix the incompatibilities, and just want to use the antique version, then you should have taken my suggestion to call tech support and ask for installation. It's free and fast and you can talk to a live friendly person, who can even do screen sharing (if needed) to resolve your problem. So I assume you called them. What did they say? How did they resolve it?
