In matlab, pinv gives the Moore-Penrose pseudoinverse of the matrix. I am wondering what determines its accuracy.
In my code, I need to get a pseudoinverse of a symmetric matrix but sometimes the obtained matrix is not symmetric (theoretically it should be). It seems that there is only one accuracy of pinv function, that is the criterion of being 0 of singular value. I tried to adjust this accuracy but no better result.
Any suggesion?
