Matlab 2017b stops working with no reason

Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with my version of Matlab 2017b running on Windows10.

Matlab stops working without any reason or error message. It happens wheater I have run a script or sometimes after just starting Matlab without evening opening an .m file. This has never occurred to me before and I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone please help me?

The three main possibilities:

• hardware problems, such as system overheating or memory problems
• graphics driver problems
• operating system updates

Thanks. I have tried to uninstall 2017b and to install 2021b. Now the problem seems solved. It must have been an incompatibility issue, as a result of the last OS update.
