- Save the workspace variables in the model workspace or a data dictionary.
- If you want to use the base workspace itself, then define the variables in any relevant callback functions of the model.
In Simulink, when an SLX file is loaded, the workspace variables are not populated

In Simulink, when I load one of my saved SLX files, the workspace variables do not get populated.
This forces me to create them manually, to make the model functional.
What am I missing here ?
