MATLAB license renewal Master License 3XXXXXXXXXX

This licence was just renewed for another year. Do I need to update the software on the computer, or with the recent renewal, will it update on it's own?

It was renewed. You don't need to download anything at this point. You can just keep on using MATLAB.

You might need to use Help -> Licensing -> Update Licenses
