How can I disable Assertion block data logging in the Simulink Data Inspector?

4 views (last 30 days)
My Simulink model (R2019b Update 9) uses the World Magnetic Model block from the Aerospace blockset, which contains Assertion blocks under its mask. The Assertion blocks seem to automatically log data to the Simulink Data Inspector. Is there a way to keep these blocks from logging data, or to just keep the logged data from appearing in the Simulink Data Inspector Inspect pane?

Matthew,
Wondering if you ever recieved an answer to this question - I have the same problem (but in 2020b) and am looking to find a way to stop the Assertion blocks from logging in the data inspector as well.
Thanks.

Hi Matthew,
I understand that you are using the ‘World Magnetic Model’ Block from the Aerospace Blockset and want to stop data-logging for the Assertion block signals under its mask in the Simulink Data Inspector. This feature is introduced in R2023a, and I would recommend you upgrade to R2023a or later releases.
However, if you would want to continue using R2019b, you could set Model Verification block enabling to Disable All in the Model Configuration Parameters. Then, you will no longer see any Assertion signals in the Data Inspector. However, this also overrides any other verification/assertion blocks in the model.
I hope this helps.
