Why I can not see the figure when I use the function rlocfind?

Do somebody know why I can not see the figure at the moment when the function rlocfind asks me to select a point in the graphics window?. The window only shows the pointer over a grey background. I am using MATLAB R2013b, student version in windows 8.1.
