Why can't the targetuptdater boot my Pandaboard?

The targetupdater for my Pandaboard ES sticks every time in the step Reset board. There it gets into a timeout while the boot progress is 1 of 6. The Pandaboard is connected via serial Comm Port and also supplied with 5VDC.
