How to make Live Script plot figure shape not be squared?

4 views (last 30 days)
I am using MATLAB 2021a, and when plot a figure in Live Script, the default shape of the figure is sqaure-shapped:
Since the data is really long, I want the figure is rectangular-sized to show more details. How can I pick a special ratio of the axes? I searched online and one solution is using daspect function.
But when I use daspect, the figure does become rectanglur, but a large margin shows on both top and bottom of the figure, that's quite ugly. I want the figure "filled" in between the texts.
How can I achive that? Thanks!

I just found that I can simply use
set(gcf,'Position',[0 0 500 400]);
to set the location? Is that the right way, please tell me better solutions. thanks.
