how to grid refinement a 10x10 matrix to a matrix but finer grids

I have a 10x10 matrix and I want to make this matrix to have finer grids but still the same size. Imagine it like there is a flow flowing in a channel through a coarse grid matrix and then the it flows in the same channel but in a finer grid matrix. thank you very much
