how to interface MATLAB and MSP430??? Can i program MSP430 with MATLAB??

Hi everyone i am working on a lab module---> face recognition system for home security.... As a part of my Project i have to interface MSP430 to MATLAB..... Is it Feasible... Can i program MSP430 with MATLAB..... ?? Face recognition is done in MATLAB... The result of detection-either 0/1 have to be written to MSP430 based on which i have drive a stepper motor to open a door for result 1(or) GSM module Should be invoked for result 0....
